An amazing place on the harbor within walking distance of Days Inn. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and the food is fresh, authentic, and plentiful. Very good customer service from entrance to exit. The salsa bar was a nice addition.. that included many extras like verde, corn bean salsa, jalapenos, chips, and peppers while you wait for your food.

Shrimp tacos were simply delicious. Social distancing followed inside where I chose to eat. Server was extremely friendly and service was prompt. I would love to go there again.

Got the $100 bucket for two. Definitely NOT for two, more like, for five adults lolThe display was better than crab hut and most other crab shacks and the staff are really chill, even with it being so busy during these timesI recommend it and will probably go again next month

Review was during Covid19, regardless, this is a wonderful place. Even among the pandemic, all precautions were taken and the service was exceptional. The food was great and the drinks were too. Will definitely be coming back.

We waited 45 min for our check and people were lined up around the building to get in. BE WARE If your party is not all there when your name is called, it's to the back of the line with you! Not kidding. Food, drinks, people all good. Think to jump ahead with a phone order? Think again. No nonsense.

They never have enough server's and we couldn't get silverware to eat our food. I'm not sure if there is a manager there but on a busy day like the boat parade you should have someone in charge🤔. The server was great but she was working to many tables. The food was tasty but in Oceanside we don't need chains here. I like the food but it is poorly run. Come on!!!

I went in the other day and Rodrigo Contreras the toco guy he made the best tocos I love it he is one of the best guys there!!

Terrible service at this location. Our family was refused entry due to having a party of ten, even though we explained that we were more than happy to sit at two different tables even if they could not be next to each other due to Covid. We were told that because we were a family of 10 the owner took a hard stance on this and would not allow us to have two SEPARATE tables of five. This made no sense whatsoever..... We will never visit this establishment again after being treated so terrible.... Like I said we were perfectly fine with sitting at separate tables even if they were across the restaurant from one another, but the manager unapologetically informed us that we were not welcome to dine there.

Ordered a lobster stuffed pepper oops couldn't find the lobster for 20 bucks Where's the lobster? My husband had bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp it can be good I've had it another restaurants but this was just a shrimp with the bacon deep fat fried on it not good not at all we ate next door a night ago and it was excellent thought we'd with get adventurous and pay the extra dollars but was very disappointed I will say when the manager came by and I told her I'd give it a one she took the $29 off my bill so it ended well but I can't recommend it. Oh service was good but the gal came by each time I had a mouthful and asked me how everything was and I was going to tell her but that didn't happen either she really didn't want to hear anything I think it was just a politeness whatever.

Excellent service! Good salsa bar. Cool location. I just happened to be less than impressed with the food I had. The epic burrito was not epic— it was pretty expensive too! (17$!)

Always enjoy this place. The buckets are a must try. Slipper tail lobster puerto nuevo style is the best. It is expensive but worth every penny. You'll be licking those amazing spices off of buttery fingers and loving every minute. Also the chili spiced butter on a warm flour tortilla is SO amazing.

Had the Shrimp n Lobster basket...also lobster corn chowder...Excellent.

Great restaurant! I had the fried fish tacos. Really good! The rice and beans were really good too. Free chips and 5 or 6 kinds of salsa. The mango salsa is awesome!

Amazing food and great margaritas! The buckets are not to be missed. The Mexican street corn is some of the best I’ve ever had! Salsa bar is excellent, but the hot salsa is quite hot, so be prepared! The servers are very pleasant and the atmosphere is fun and lively. Great for couples, and you can bring your doggos into the patio!

This place is freaking amazing. Every little thing is delicious. Happy hour is a great time to come. Service is wonderful. Food is out of this world. Highly recommend

You go here and are with the Right people This place will fill you with Great Food and Drinks and Some Very Large Drinks. Have a Blast. Upbeat Vibe. Better when the masks go away. Practicing CoVid-19 Safety Very Strict Cleaning. A must see place to go.

Walked up to be seated the Hostess asked us a few questions due to Covid-19 asked us to sanitize our hands upon being seated. Not very many people were sitting in the dining area nor the patio area where my Husband and I chose to be seated. We sat there for over 15 minutes and NO ONE had greeted us. Two other families had come in at this time & were seated & was greeted by a waitress no longer than 2 minutes after being seated. My Husband and I then got up from our table & asked a worker how come we hadn't been served after sitting there for 15 minutes or so. He had no excuse of to why we weren't served. We felt discriminated against & decided to leave the establishment. NOT A FRIENDLY PLACE DON'T EAT HERE!!!!

We loved Rockin’ Baja! We got the Tacos Tres Amigos and Seafood Enchiladas and are talking about when we are going back. The staff was amazing. The food was even better. The wait time (for going at dinner on a Saturday) wasn’t bad at all, especially compared to some nearby restaurants. We’ll DEFINITELY be back!

Food was great and we had excellent service. We had the bucket with shrimp, lobster and crab legs. The crab legs were my favorite, but all was delicious. Nicola also gave us great service and made some good suggestions on drinks, appetizers and dessert. Would definitely recommend this place. By far the best seafood in Oceanside. We went to some other places that were good, but this place is excellent!

Been coming here for years but quality has been horribly lately. Service was awesome but not worth the price. $40 for a lobster / shrimp bucket that tasted horrible so i didn’t eat more than a half a lobster. Seriously disappointed and won’t be coming back :(

One star for the atmosphere and location and one for the friendly wait staff, but after two botched take out orders I won’t be back. Last night they took $35 and 45 minutes for 6 cold tacos, with no pico, onions or cojito , some sort of burnt cheese on the tortilla and the dry moldy cabbage. We are local and won’t waste our time or money here again.

It is located at the Oceanside Harbor. We stop by for their Happy Hour, not for their drinks, but their food specials. Great tacos and other offerings. Nice spot to relax after a day at the beach.

A nice laid back Mexican Seafood restaurant with outdoor seating and indoor bar on the water in the harbor. They have an excellent happy hour ($6 for 3 street tacos was very tasty) with free tortilla chips and fresh salsa bar. Try the mango salsa or black bean salsa. You can't go wrong!

We won’t be back. Service is a lot worse but it’s can’t be due to COVID. Food and drinks take 35 mine to come out. Server laughs it off everytime I politely told him something was wrong. Chips were stale!! Every single one. GM Luna has terrible customer service skills. Takes 10 mins for them to clean the table that we asked for. No one was behind us in line at the time either. Service just sucked, but food sucked even more. Go to the Broiler, better prices and better food and drinks. Beautiful view.

This place is awesome! We ordered the bucket that had shrimp, lobster and crab legs. The dinner was out of this world! Best seafood I’ve had here on the west coast! Would definitely recommend. Nicola was our server and she was very nice and attentive and made some great recommendations for our dinner bucket, appetizer and dessert. The fried calamari was a delicious appetizer. We finished off the evening with the fried ice cream! So good, I think we will go back again before I leave. Go eat here! You won’t be disappointed!!

Food is always amazing here... it's a must in oceanside!

Margarita was really good. We caught the happy hour specials. The food was ok, seafood with a lot of sauce, and goop. Rice was good, beans sucked. We are in town for a visit. If i came back through in the future, would i eat here again? Probably not... There are way to many other choices around here.

It was pretty good. Not the best I ever had but yeah I would recommend going there. The self-serve salsa bar was good to start and the drinks and atmosphere was good. I got the bucket with lobster shrimp and crab and I enjoyed it although when they cook it they flash fry everything and it come out with an old bay type seasoning which was tasty but the cooking process makes the good a bit tough to get out of the shell. Other than that it was enjoyable.

Rockin Baja was one of my favorite restaurant when I lived in Cali. They were the spot to visit if you wanted decent crab or lobster and fish bowl margaritas. The fish bowls were truly a work of art and the best margarita I've ever had.

Have always enjoyed the food at Rocking Baja! Love the Big Baja bucket for 2. We brought a good lunch amount home. Chips and salsa bar is great. Only drawback is it can be a little pricy

Loved the chips and salsa bar! The food came in portions larger than I expected which was perfect on the night after a half marathon. I would recommend but watch your timing as on a Saturday night it can be crowded.

OMG the spicy mango margarita was soooo good and my chicken tacos were flavorful and cooked just right. We enjoyed our food, time and staff there. Plus it's at the harbor so we strolled on down to the beach after our fantastic lunch.

Decent food but over priced. You can get much better Mexican food at Sancho's for half the price

Wow! Talk about some awesome food! The lobster lovers platter was huge but everything was delicious!

Fast-food restaurant. Not many healthy choices.

We drive the boat from Dana Point to this location several times a year. An absolute family and friends favorite. Will be going again this Saturday. My wife loves the Sea of Coryez bucket and I love the seafood enchiladas. Yummy.
